The Missing Link
by Denise Petersen
For this submission I thought maybe some organization was in order.  Lately I have been reviewing the various software programs available to get my craft stash organized.  I have listed just the few that I actually either own or downloaded the free trials to review the software.  There are alot more available out there, but the following list are the programs I have actually reviewed.

eKnit-Kards software for Knitters

Nancy's Knit Knacks - This is an organizing software program geared more towards the knitter.  Keep tracks of projects, supplies, books and patterns.  There is a desktop version and also a Palm version so you can sync between the two and have all of the information on your Palm in case you are at the store, looking at supplies, just pull out your Palm and double check to see what you already have.  There is also a downloadable free 30 day trial period for both the desktop software and the Palm software.

Organized Expressions

There are several different organizing software programs available for whatever craft you may be into.  Such as Scrapbooking, Rubber Stampers, Knitters & Crocheters, Needleworkers, All Quilters, and People who Sew.

C-Organizer Software

A couple of different organizing software programs, one being a bit more advanced and offering more features.  However, both of these programs are geared more along the line of software suite that includes a planner, address book, notepad, calendar of events and bookmark managers.  Both of these software programs remind me of Microsoft Outlook with their features.  So if you have and use Microsoft Outlook, I'd pass on these software packages.

AZZ Cardfile

Data organizer software - This is a great program.  You can customize it to organize anything from patterns, supplies, internet bookmarks, addresses, photos, etc.  There is a free download, good for a 30 day trial period.  You can also download free sample files developed by other customers.

WhizFolders Organizer Pro

I think this is my favorite one for the price.  It has a free download trial period and I actually purchased the software after the trial period was over.  This can be customized and used for all sorts or organizing.  You could create different folders, say one for Crafts, one for address, internet bookmarks, home inventory and the list goes on and on.
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree

Rocking around the Christmas Tree
at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see
every couple tries to stop
Rocking around the Christmas Tree
let the Christmas spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
and we'll do some caroling

You will get a sentimental
feeling when you hear
Voices singing let's be jolly
deck the halls with boughs of holly
Rocking around the Christmas tree,
have a happy holiday
Everyone dancing merrily
in the new old-fashioned way
