Do NOT LEAVE YOUR PUPPY UNATTENDED WHILE EATING!

Chicken backs are the preferred staple as the pup will take his time eating it and the bone to meat ratio is near perfect.
When feeding any chicken necks HOLD the neck in your fingers till the pup has finished it.

Do NOT worry about feeding vegetables. Your table scraps should be sufficient.
When you feed vegetables/fish/livers the stool will be more loose, so plan those meals accordingly.

Do NOT feed this raw, species appropriate diet if you feel uncomfortable
or unable to do it properly.

DO read your recommended books to make yourself confident this is right for your puppy.

As the puppy grows you will be adding chicken quarters and turkey necks to his diet.
Continue to monitor him while he is eating.
Just like a baby, you will watch what he eats, how he eats, and what he excretes.
A raw fed puppy will have a very small, sometimes chalky white stool. A kibble fed pup has a huge, many times watery, loose stool.
If you alter to kibble, in fact, if you alter his diet in any way, expect a change in stool.

DO include recreational bones (ribs, marrow filled soup bones, etc.) with and without meat.
We feed this raw diet for the health of your puppy, please remember that.

BALANCE over TIME is our goal.
