Tears

I put my arms around you
And pull you close to me
To feel your warm heart beating
And your silken skins sweet breath

I kiss your cheek, move back your hair
With lovers sweet gentle ease
Then begin to lose myself
In the years of my lonely squander

Remembering all the harrowing time
Of loneliness and forlorn
The lifetime of forget and despair
That plagued the innocents heart

Dead emotions well
A tear begins to form
With the remembrance of such travesties
Yet the love you have for me

The tear begins its journey
Carving a path of hate
Ushering in the fall of more
Silenced sobs the only defense

You find my eyes
The tear stained diamonds of life
And wipe away the furrowed paths
Cleansing the loneliness of lifetimes
