WHO MAY REGISTER IN THE ADULT PROGRAMS AT SCAS ?

residents of Toronto

adults 21 or over as of December 31, of the current school year

a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant of refugee claimant with valid student authorization

 

HOW TO REGISTER AT SCAS ?

Call 416-396-6921 to book an Orientation/Assessment/Intake appointment

Attend the Orientation/Assessment/Intake appointment to learn more about the courses offered at SCAS

Complete English and Mathematics skills assessments to ensure a positive class placement

Attend a planning session to help develop and Educational and Career Plan and to select appropriate courses for the next available intake

 

WHEN DO CLASSES START ?

Classes start four times throughout the year:

beginning of September

mid-November

beginning of February

mid-April

ADULT PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Courses at SCAS provide adults with an opportunity to do the following

earn a high school diploma

increase their level of education

prepare for further post-secondary education or training

improve their skills for employment

 

Most courses are at the general, applied/or open level. All course have minimum language requirements, and some classes have additional requirements.
