1979 Tornado - Windsor Locks, CT

All the photos on this page were taken on October 4, 1979

In the area, 3 people died, scores were injured and a museum was destroyed along with everything else in the tornado's path.  I arrived the morning after the tornado.  I had never seen complete and total destruction like this.  If I did not see it with my own eyes and have my photos, I would not believe a force like this exsists outside of war.
