September 1944.

The allies are slashing through Belgium and heading towards Holland and Germany. A large American Force is a mere 15 miles from the Dutch Border. The Capital of the Dutch province of Limburg, Maastricht, is in sight. Thoughts of the war ending in December are not going to be a reality as some had hoped. The Germans are far from defeated and with impressive additions to their panzers, will make them a more formidable foe! A brand new German army has been created with fresh German soldiers and the latest of equipment. Standing by to counterattack the lightning advance of the Allies. This Army group is unknown to the Allies. A surprise, a big iron fist that may stun the allied advance and move them back. The battle field will be Limburg. The clash of these titans will bring great destruction to the cities of Heerlen, Landgraaf, and Maastricht. Will the Allies win? Will the Germans complete their "knock out" punch? Who will win? That of course will be up to the Generals of both sides. the ground they choose to fight on and the selection of their forces. With winter on the way and the typical Central European weather no one can call on their Air Forces. This battle will be determined man against man and tank against tank!

The American Army must continue East towards Germany, Smashing any resistance they encounter. The German Army Must march west and secure the capital of Limburg, Maastrict, crushing the Americans and once again bring this region under the stable control of the 3rd Reich.
