it ain't easy being punk rock and a parent. or is it???
in a world where suv's and soccer mom's dominate our landscape, people are becoming more reliant on martha stewart at younger ages. those under thirty who subscribe to early monday night television views of parenting are raising a majority of the children, who will most likely end up stepford versions of themselves until puberty strikes. but there is a whole world of folks out there who are leading their own way, doing their own thing, and struggling to raise concious kids in a rock n' roll environment. sure, we may not do everything right, but who the fuck does? wouldn't you rather have a well-adjusted, communication happy child then just some kid who fits the standard mold? how many more people do we need that will subsist in our republican-sanctioned, nike buying, big mac eating world? we need revolutionarys, and we need to raise them ourselves. no one else will do it for us. so this is a "club" of sorts, that will hopefully define itself better as time goes by. if you are interested, email me and sign up for the mailing list. we can go from there.
