Other Stuff That I've been involved with:

History of The Imperium Working Group: I was (sorta still am) the Australian Chapter Coordinator. HIWG developed background and adventures for the Traveller Science Fiction Roleplaying Game. Traveller and HIWG have been a lot of fun.

Team Creatures Rollerblade Display Team: I was involved with a rollerblade team for a while as Team First Aid Officer. It was great fun and I got to skate lots.

St. John: With another guy I raised a new Division of St. John, of which I am still Superintendent. This was hard to do, but I've met a lot of good people there and had a great time. I've also helped a lot of people, which is really cool.

Violence is Violence Domestic Violence Campaign: After some rather unfortunate experiences on the wrong end of a crazy ex-girlfriends wrath, I was a bit of a mess for a while. The way I used this pain was to run a Domestic Violence Campaign in 1997. I then ran it again in 1998. This campaign was run through the UniSA Student's Association and tackled Domestic Violence from the view that men, the elderly and same sex couples also experience Domestic Violence. The campaign in 1997 consisted of a blue information handbook and three posters. The Campaign in 1997 consisted of a black information handbook and four posters. I am very proud of this work. The materials were distributed throughout South Australia and were even used by the S.A. Police Domestic Violence Unit.
The Picklocks of Biographers

For he will smile
And give you with unflinching courtesy,
Prayers, trappings, letters, uniforms and orders,
Photographs, kindness, valor and advice,
And do it with such grace and gentleness
That you will know you have the whole of him
Pinned down, mapped out, easy to understand
And so you have. All things except the heart.
The heart he kept...a secret to the end
From all the picklocks of biographers.
