Bio

John Schenk is Founder of SchenkMedia Consulting, a business and financial advisory services company based in Los Angeles.

With 20 years of financial, strategic, and business development experience, Mr. Schenk has worked for such companies as Walt Disney, Dreamworks, Sony Music, BMG Entertainment, Tickets.com and Internet radio provider, Live365. He has been an active advocate for Internet-based technology and entertainment distribution since 1995, and is involved in numerous entrepreneurial initiatives including on-demand and subscription-based services for music and movies. Currently, Mr. Schenk is VP Finance & Controller for Adapt Technologies, Inc., a search engine marketing and optimization startup technology company based in Pasadena.

Mr. Schenk holds an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University. In his time off, he enjoys playing golf, diving exotic waters and conjuring up new guitar riffs.
