Our Summer Vacation

Welcome to my web site!

This web site has been set up with family and friends in mind.   After living outside the U.S. for four years now I wanted to share my adventures with you in a way  that is more visual than our usual email and snail-mail communications.  Hopefully this will fill the bill. 

Having worked my way through a basic web page tutorial from Microsoft this is my first attempt at a "real" web site.  I have an ulterior motive in this particular form of communication as I am in pursuit of a new career.  Twenty years in the public schools should be enough penance for anyone!  I still teach music privately but, frankly, music teachers are a dime-a-dozen in the U.K.  A short detour into the world of interior design convinced me that, while very interesting and engaging, the field is seriously overcrowded with talent as it is.  My ever-wise husband recommended web design as an excellent alternative and one that might actually produce some income.

So...here goes.  In the following pages you will find:

I will keep adding to these pages, so be sure to check in once in awhile.  I hope you enjoy and that it whets your own appetite for travel.

Incidentally, if you'd like to reduce or eliminate those little ads in the top corner of each page, click on the up arrow to reduce it and then the X to eliminate.  Unfortunately, you have to repeat the process for each page, but, hey, the site is free so what the heck!
