Ryan Lee Stiles was born in Seattle Wahington on April 22nd 1959 to Sonny and Irene Stiles. Out of their 5 children, Ryan was the youngest.When Ryan was in school he really had no idea what he wanted to to do or be. He only had about 3 classes as a senior and he decided it gave him too much freedom and a few months before graduation, he dropped out and started to start his career in stand up comedy even though his parents weren't too crazy about it. He met his wife Pat McDonald at a club that he was doing stand up in. They married in 1989, and from then on had two kids, Mackenzie, born in 1992 and Sam, born in 1994. Ryan owns two houses one in Washigon where he says he wishes he could spend more time, and one in California which was once owned by Liberace. Ryan is most famous for his roles on TV starring in The Drew Carey Show, and Whose Line is it Anyway? He also was in a few movies including Courting Courtney, Hot Shots! and Hot Shots Part Deux. He has even guest starred on a few TV shows including Mad About You, and MAD TV. And if you didn't know by now, Ryan stands at a tall 6 feet 6 and that's how everyone pictures him as a giraffe. |
