Originally created for a developer with the intention of using them for rental cabins, these three designs are efficient and economical.  Two designs are 16' x 24' with a loft, and 16' x 20' both with full bath, and kitchen, while the third serves as a public laundry  facility.   These buildings are designed to uniform building code with Wardco LLC wall panels, but the plans can be adapted to be used with stick framing if necessary.

Designed in 1950, this cozy but efficient cottage-style home has seen magnitude 7 earthquakes and floods.  The design is uniquely adaptable for use of up to three floors without major remodeling.  It's warm, inviting and easily affordable on a modest budget.  Easily suited to be either a starter home, a rental, or a comfortable office space.

Mountain Villiage:

This simple but spacious plan has had marvelous success in the Alaskan bush.  The panels were shipped by barge up the Nenana river to Mountain Villiage where they were assembled in 2003.  The incredibly high R-value of polystyrene and the great strength of steel expand the possible window area in most designs without compromising energy efficiency.

Four bedrooms, a full bath, a garage and complete kitchen make use of the full 50' x 28' space.  A large family can live together in comfort.
