Okay. I've done all you said. NOW what type of telescope should I get?
There is no single answer for everyone. Once again, get a catalogue from a major astronomy retailer and compare models, prices and features. Also, I would suggest consulting the book "Star Ware" by Philip Harrington. It is the difinitive guide to the multitude of astronomical equipment on the market today. Also, go to more astronomy club meetings and pick the brains of your fellow amateur astronomers for advice (you HAVE been following directions, right?) and go to more star parties. At star parties, you can looks through and "test drive" multiple types of telescopes and learn which one is best for you. Always remember proper ettiquette, and never use somebody's telescope without permission!

After you have done all this, I would suggest buying a telescope from a local dealer. This is a more "personal" way of buying a telescope than ordering through a catalogue. Most scope dealers do their jobs as a labor of love, and can provide excellent guidance on what telescope is right for you as opposed to trying to sell you the most expensive piece of crap they can.
