Bigfoot By staff writer, Thao Nguyen. Bigfoot is a human-like creature, lage and hairy, also konwn as a "Sasquatch," the Native American name for the creature. It can be found in the Pacific Northwest region of the United Sates and the Canadian province of British Columbia and has been generally know since the 19th century. Most come around during spring or the summer months when people are venturing into the wilderness to fish, camp, and hike. Bigfoot is described as 7-10 feet tall and weighing over 500 pounds. Its footprint is about 17 inches long and 6 inches wide. This creature is covered in brown or reddish hair. It doesn't have a neck, and the head is fight above its shoulders, and it has a large, low-set forehead with a round head and large eyes. The creature is similar to a male gorilla or an ape, with thick fur, long arms, and strong shoulders. Bigfoot has also been seen in Texas. In Beaumont, about three is the evening on the bank of Neches river, a man and his friends were fishing. They heard noises, but they didn't really worry about it too much. He turned around and almost had a heart attack; there were no words that could come out of his mourth. The animal was looking at them like it wanted something from them. The boys were staring at the large animal. Then they started walking down the river for about fifty feet. It was at their place trying to look for a meal, but it didn't seem mean or aggravated. |
