HERE IS A TIP ON FITNESS TRAINING THAT I GOT FROM A FELLOW FALCONER ON THE WEB.
GETTING YOUR BIRD WHEN YOU WORK FOR A LIVING CAN BE A TASK IN IT'S SELF AS GETTING HOME IN THE DAY LIGHT CAN BE A PROBLEM.
SO WHAT I DO IS I HAVE A SECURITY LIGHT IN THE BACK YARD WHAT I WORK WITH. I TIE THE BIRD TO A CREANCE LINE  AND HAVE HIM JUMP FOR FOOD FROM YOUR FEET STRAIGHT UP TO YOUR FIST AND I DO THIS ABOUT 50 TIMES A NIGHT OR MORE. I KEEP HIM GOING HARD SO IT BUILDS THE MUSCLES UP.
NORMALLY MY HARRIS FLIES AT 1LB 61/2OZ AND PRETTY GOOD AT THAT ASWELL, ONLY THING I NOTICED WAS THAT IF HE HAD TO GIVE CHASE ANY DISTANCE HE GAVE UP EASY. NOW THAT I HAVE BEEN DOING THE JUMPS HE IS FLYING AT 1LB 7 3/4OZ AND HE FLYS WELL.
HE USED TO START ACTING UP A LITTLE ABOUT 1LB 7OZ . I WAS A BIT UNCERTAIN ABOUT FLYING HIM AT THIS WEIGHT BUT HE DID GREAT.
AS YOU CAN SEE IT WAS GETTING A BIT DARK  BUT EVERY NIGHT I WAS TRAINING HIM LIKE THIS AND EVEN IN A WEEK OF HARD WORK IT DID MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND I WILL BE CARRYING ON THIS WAY OF TRAINING AS IT DOES PROVE TO WORK.
