This was a great trip to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary (can it be 20 yrs already?) with four other couples ... the Foxs, the Firebaughs, the Millers and the Risingers.  We had a great week of fun and friendship, and a trip that we won't soon forget. The weather was perfect, the drinks were fruity, cold and unlimited ... the pools are incredible, and view from our oceanfront building unbeatable.  What else can we say?  :-) We got to know Andres the bartender at the Barracuda Bar well, and enjoyed his 3x a day "parties" very much. Some people had a hard time leaving his swim-up bar, as you can see, photo on right.  (Hi Todd, Marsha, Harold and Lisa F!!) This all-inclusive paradise has ten  restaurants, and we hit about all of them.  Our favorites were the Japanese and Italian.  We didn't eat alot of Mexican food, interestingly!  Ha!  The omelette bars at breakfast were a favorite group meeting place as well. We also had the ferry ride from you-know-where between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel in a thunderstorm.  Ask Marsha M about it sometime!  :-) Plans are to return again in Nov 2004, kids and all!  Should be a great time!!
