What a fun place!  We really enjoyed our first visit to Ft. Lauderdale.  There is lots of activity and beautiful beach to enjoy. We spent 3 days before our cruise, and one day after we returned.  It was TJ's first time to spend a lot of time on a beach, and he really enjoyed it.  He loved jumping in the waves, and once in awhile, the waves enjoyed knocking him down!  Ha! We enjoyed riding the Water Taxi through the marinas and seeing all the huge yachts and homes on the intracoastal waterway.  Our hotel was directly across from the port, and it was fun to watch the ships come and go, and watch one of the causeway bridges raise and lower to accommodate boats. Hopefully we'll be able to return some time, because it was a great family vacation spot.  More Pictures Coming Soon!!

We stayed at the Marina Marriott, where there were some incredible yachts docked and cruising by!

The hotel's marina wraps all the way around, and here you can see the Intracoastal Waterway access.
