Decker
Tool Rental is a leading provider of construction and
homeowner/Do-It-Yourself (DIY) equipment rentals. With over 200 pieces of
equipment, Decker Tool Rental conveniently offers Car Polishers, Carpet
Cleaners, Backhoes, Bobcats and much more.
Clients consist of small contractors, landscapers and homeowners
from Westchester County, New York.
“We
provide a more personalized service, a clean operation and proper
inventory maintenance,” says Michael Decker, who founded the company on
April 15, 1983 in Hawthorne, New York.
The
company concentrates on unprecedented customer service by constantly
updating and reinvesting in inventory.
They provide machinery demonstrations to educate each consumer
about proper use and safety. The
American Rental Association recognized Decker Tool Rental in 1995 for
Neatness of Location.
In
the first 10 years, Decker Tool Rental increased profits 25 percent per
year and has continued to increase earnings year after year.
In 1985, Decker Tool Rental opened its second location in Bedford
Hills, NY. Ken Jasilli, a
long-time friend of Michael Decker, manages that operation.
There are currently seven employees at the two locations.
The
company’s inventory includes Kubota, Ingersoll Rand, John
Deere, and Multiquip equipment. Decker Tool Rental sells about 65 percent of
its supplies to contractors and 35 percent to homeowners.
