Golden Age Atom, Al Pratt
This custom was done as a commision for my friend Ralph from Watertown, Mass.  It was fairly difficult to do.  I started with a Flash base, removing his belt, ear wings, and gloves with my Dremel.  Next, I cut a groove along the crown of his head with my cutting wheel attachment.  I then cut a piece of plastic to make the fin, setting it in place with my Sculpey.  Next I made Atom's belt, briefs and boot tops with the Sculpey.  I also sculpted his ears with Sculpey.  Next I scuplted his gaunlets from sculpey. Finally, I painted the figure, painting the symbol by hand.  I finished it out with a cape made by my wife.  I am totally pleased with this figure.  I'm gonna have to make one for myself now!
