Batgirl is a custom I've been putting off for a long time, because it is a very difficult and complex project. I started with a Wonder Woman base, first Dremeling off her boots, chest symbol, bracelets, belt and shorts. Next, I cut off the top and most of the back of her head with my X-acto. Using Sculpey, I then sculpted Batgirl's utility belt. I then sculpted her cowl and hair. This is the really difficult part. I then primed and painted the figure. I attached the Bat symbol using decoupage. Finally, my wife made the cape. Batgirl has probably been the most requested custom by visitors to the website. I hope you guys enjoy her! |
