This is my rendition of one of the coolest and most venerated super heroes of all time, the original Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. I built him on a Superman base. First, I cut off the top of Supes' head with my X-acto knife. Using my Dremel, I ground off Supes' boot tops and and brief line. Using Sculpey, I built Flash's boots and smoothed out the gouges on his legs where I ground off the brief line. I also covered Supes' round belt buckle with a rectangular piece of Sculpey. I then built Flash's helmet using Sculpey. The wings on his helmet and boots are pieces cut off of a Hawman figure's helmet wings. I then primed the figure and painted it.
