This turned out to be a pretty cool looking figure. I started by boiling and popping a Red Tornado head onto a Green Lantern body. Next, I cut off the top of the head with my X-acto. I ground off GL's boots, ring, shoulder decorations, and the semi-circles under his arms with my Dremel. I also Dremeled off the arrow on Red Tornado's head. Next, I sculpted on Robin's hair with Sculpey. I also added the belt and boots with Sculpey. I then primed the figure with a spray on primer. Next, I painted the figure with acrylic paint. I then decoupaged on the Robin symbol onto the figure's chest. I scanned the symbol off of a comic book and printed off on my printer. Finally, I spray sealed the figure with acrylic sealant. |
