Superwoman is obviously built on a Wonder Woman base. First, I ground off the WW emblem on her chest and her boot tops and boot stripes. I also ground of those pesky bracelets. Next, I built the over the shoulder straps on Superwoman's costume from Sculpey. I also used Sculpey to build her new boot tops. I then took a blob of Sculpey and formed it into her round chest emblem. I next scraped off WW's eyes and eyelashes. I then repainted them with a fine tipped brush to make her look more evil. I then painted the figure and her emblem. As always, my beautiful wife made the cape. The cape needs no fasteners, since WW's hair holds it on nicely. Finally, I took some gold thread and made her magic lasso. |
