The inspiration for this custom came from me thinking, "what in the world can I make with one of the 15 Penguin figures I have lying around?" Uncle Dudley was the result. First, I cut off the Penguin's tophat. Next, I removed the details of his jacket, pant's legs and shoes using my Dremel. I also removed his monocle and reduced the size of his pointy nose. Using Sculpey, I sculpted on the top of Dudley's bald head, his hair, and moustache. I also added his boot tops and smoothed over the areas that I had Dremeled off using the Sculpey. Next, I painted and sealed the figure. Finally, my lovely wife made Dudley's cape. I think Dudley's cape is the coolest one she has ever made! I am extremely proud of this figure! |
