Uncle Sam, leader of the Freedom Fighters, is built on a Joker body with a Green Arrow head. First, because Joker's neck is much to long to fit GA's head, I cut the neck off using a cutting disc attachment on my Dremel. I then cemented GA's head onto the Joker body using Sculpey and wire for reinforcement. Next, I cut off Green Arrow's hat with my X-acto knife. Using my Dremel, I then removed Green Arrow's mask and moustache. Using Sculpey, I then built Uncle Sam's top hat. I then primed the figure and painted it. The stipes on the pants were fairly easy to paint since Joker's pants already have lines sculpted into them. All I had to do was paint between the lines. |
