Hello Ford and Mustang enthusiasts. I have driven Mustangs in the past for about 10 years and am familiar with Fox bodied Fords since 1979. I have driven over 7 of these types of cars (but not yet new one) over the years, especially the SN-95 Mustangs. I found each to be slightly different than the others. Our family has owned many Fords in the past. Our first was a 1960 Galaxie Starliner with 352. Next was a 65 4 door Galaxie 500 again with 352. Then in 1979 we purchased a Mercury Zephyr Z-7 with 302. It was a quick car for its time and have driven it many times myself. Its the only car I know with an automatic that you can do almost 60 miles per hour in first gear! Don't try this at home kids.  :P  That car is still on the road today (with new owners) proving the strength of the Fox body design. My one brother, also a Mustang enthusiast, bought a 79 Capri with 5.0L in the mid 80s. My oldest brother had a 60s Ford van, like the Scooby Doo van, which had the 200 which he also swapped to a 351W. My first Mustang was (again) a 79 with 5.0L, which was later converted to a 351W. I do love these cars even if they are a throwback in technology in todays world. I have driven other vehicles, of which I currently have a small Mazda- for now, but I've always enjoyed the Mustangs the most. When I replace my Mazda I'm going back to Mustang, but the new current style. My first car was a 71 VW SuperBeetle. Over the next series of pages you will see my past 2 Stangs and possible future Stang, plus their motors with other info. This site is for reader information on 351W motors and if you are contemplating a swap yourself. It covers 79-85 swaps, 86-93 swaps, and 94-95 swaps. I do not know a lot about EFI 4 cylinder to V8 swaps however, nor do I know much info on the 4.6L Mustangs. Please note that you can only view so many pages before you hit Geocities bandwidth warning.
