Synopsis:
The town of Blaine, Missouri is celebrating its sesquicentennial with a number of events, with the centerpiece being the history of their hometown told through a musical play.  The school's drama teacher is a off off off Broadway reject who still has dreams of making it big.  He is put in charge of the play and recruits a quirky bunch of talentless town folk for the cast.  They get news that a member of a foundation is coming down from New York City to see the play.  The plot thickens.

Review:
This is a hard movie to review because of it's nature, and the fact that everybody did their jobs wonderfully.  Corky, played by Christopher Guest, is the center of the movie as the towns flamboyant drama teacher.  Since much of the dialogue was ad-libbed by these established comedic actors, they each maintained a distinct persona.  The concentration on the odd looks they gave each other served well to strengthen the laughter of the audience.  The sets and scenery deftly enhanced the movies small town charm.  This mockumentary of hilarity is continuous laughter for all.  If you are lucky enough to get the chance see this in a theater, go for it!  If you take out one sentence, you could have a G rated movie that is a total gas.
