The Bobcat Rank is the beginning of your journey as a Cub Scout.
All Cub Scouts must obtain their Bobcat rank
before earning the Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos rank.
When a boy becomes a Cub Scout, his parent teaches him his Bobcat requirements:
Learning the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, handshake, salute, sign, and motto
and explain what each one means.
