Troubled Individual

Oblique and perceptive
Skin whiter than pale.
A mind rarely found,
But when discovered jailed.

An innocent animal crushed,
No more than a rat in a cage.
Hiding her emotions completely,
Blanketed to keep other's rage.

A stone cold face,
As hard as diamond ice.
Eyes wide with frustration
Maliciously clicking the dice.

Living in twisted shadows,
Tightly clutching Russian dreams.
In her white scarred arms
Meticulously torn to the seems.

Dissapointed at the world
For spawning nought but hate.
Not all become enlightened and
She is left to carry the weight.

Day by day, dwelling on life,
Others oblivious to sorrow.
Living life without thought to reason
Unfulfilled and forever hollow.

She crouches in shadows
Seeking sactity in the dark.
With realisation comes depression,
Always alone with others bark.

She has no-one to confide in,
Does anyone feel the same?
Or is she all alone
As she sees the world create more pain?

On the surface appearing tainted,
Living with melancholly means.
Gifted with words and insight,
Balancing sanity on the beam.

Always inscribing thoughts and perceptions
Others are unable to see.
Quietly scribbling the horrors around us.
Insignificant, to us, as a tree.

Misunderstood and brilliant,
A beautiful mind contained.
Blessed with endless intellect
Cursed with knowledge's pain.
Idyllic Death

Sitting alone and destitute
Barred from life and hope.
Forever locked in a lonely cage
Waiting for Death's last grope.

A girl lying beneath a tree,
Half sunk among the rain.
Hail coming from beneath the ground
Never to fall again.

The girl never moving
As the ivy binds her feet.
Her eyelids never flutter
As she vanishes beneath the peat.

She knows that she is crying
Invisible in the rain.
Storm clouds tower over her.
Pressing her not to wane.

She sees a force coming
Stronger than God's kind.
With nothing to protect her
She sees it in her mind.

Over and over destruction.
The candles continue to fall.
The amulet slowly swings faster
And figures grow ever tall.

Events and time pass by her
The storm clouds had won.
She felt the sun rising
And then she was gone.

Lost from all known memory
Living again in a place unknown.
No sun, moon or stars to guide her
Had she wanted to go home.

She lost her life as she died to the world,
Her body consumed by soil.
Never again to experience happiness
Only nothingness left from toil.
A Ruined Medieaval Castle

A large ruined rebel,
Standing in solitude.
At the top of a hill
Reflects in a lake.
Tall, commanding towers,
Fallen in battle.
Broken into pieces
Never to inspire again.
Cold, stone corridors
Which children ran down joyfully.
Secrets had been whispered
Walls lost to the destruction of time.
Majestic, posing balconies
A stoned path to a view of long lost beauty.
The stones weathered by wind
Never again to hold, and hear
Lovers confess their desires.
Dark, damp dungeons,
Far beneath the castle.
Sanctuary for spiders
Between the dripping stones.
Skeletons in rusty chains,
Enemies of the empire.
Persecuted for crimes
That still remain unknown
By the Lake

Sitting here beneath the trees,
Children playing at water's edge.
A large wing floats past on a dream,
Silent and swift longing to be seen.

A warm wind blowing
Sending kites high to heaven.
The people reach up
Desperate to belong.

Warm rays of golden sunlight
Falling on the grassy bank.
Men and women basking in it
Trying to capture the dream.
