Note: Activated in May 1864 by Command of Brigadier General Ripley, a company under Captain Manigault of this unit was listed in Rhelt's Brigade of Brigadier General William B. Taliaferro's Division. From Mount Pleasant, they were undoubtedly in the defence of Charleston.
