Princess Princess is a 13 year old, 15.3 hands, dark brown Standardbred. Princess is in great health and is currently up to date on coggins, deworming, vaccinations, shoes and dental care. Her stable manners are good and she has been started under saddle, but needs an advanced rider and individual training. For that reason, the school program that she is currently part of is looking to find her a home. Contact: Linda Corson, lcorson@agtech.org, 978-774-0050 ext 254 Sully Sully is a 16 hand, chestnut TB X gelding with a touch of Navicular, but his owner feels that with some farrier care, he will return to serviceably sound for light riding. Sully is good with children and beginner riders. He does well on the trails with another horse, although he can be nervous if he goes out alone - alone he would need a confident rider. Sully is good for the vet and farrier, although can be a touch nervous if the farrier is too loud. He stands in cross-ties, bathes, clips, loads and ties well. Contact: Chelsea Altieri, spngirl921@sbcglobal.net ?? This 17.3, 5 year old gelding was rescued from Suffolk Downs. He was bound for slaughter. He was injured racing and has sustained a break in his left ankle near his suspensory. His owner is leaving the country for work and will not be able to continue caring for him. He is very well mannered and a joy to be around (as well as tremendously handsome). The owner's vet seems to think he may be okay for light work after an appropriate time of stall rest and rehabilitation. Contact: Kelli Costa, costaka@earthlink.net Aaron 1981 Aaron is a 16 hand chestnut Quarter Horse gelding. He is 24 years young and in very good health. Aaron goes English and Western, has had formal dressage training and has done level 1 in Natural Horsemanship. He loves to work and trail riding is his favorite. He is up to date on all his shoots, teeth, etc. I have put shoes on the front feet, but he does fine without. Aaron gets along with other horses, especially with mares - he is quite the ladies man and does not know he is a gelding! He doesn't bit, kick, grib, etc and is not "spooky". Contact: Tracy Roberts - Dover, NH, tracy12@comcast.net Monte 1991 Monte is a 16.2 hand thoroughbred gelding with kissing spines. Monte becomes anxious and explosive when being mounted and ridden. His owner has done injections, accupuncture, massage, etc. to no avail. His only option is as a companion horse. Monte gets along well with other horses, and is gentle and kind. His owner would prefer to have him go to a home where his new family is famliar with handling horses. Monte is currently located in Rhode Island. Contact: Ellen Sandstrom, ellensandstrom@hotmail.com Delta & Cookie Delta: She is a 25 years old, 16.1 hand bay Thoroughbred mare. Delta is a retired broodmare who was going to be put down once she could no longer carry foals. Delta has always been a healthy mare, and has no bad habits. Like most thoroughbreds, she's not crazy about being brushed, but she tolerates it. She does enjoy the comfort of a warm winter blanket.. and likes her water fresh and clean. Ms. Cookie: She is a 20 year old Appaloosa mare. Cookie has cataracts in both eyes, and although she was the type of horse that anyone could ride, she has lost her sight in her old age. Cookie is an easy keeper, and has no other health issues. Owner would like to find a home where these two could be together, as they are used to being around one another.
