Ben

Appendix Quarter Horse gelding
1997

Ben is a chestnut appendix Quarter Horse gelding, approxmiately 16.3 hands high, who we are told is "dead broke" and beginner safe.

Ben has come into our care because was unsound due to Lyme disease and a condition called contracted heels.  XRays have been taken, and both our farrier and vet have agreed that Ben does not have any navicular changes.

With proper farrier care and treatment for his Lyme disease, we believe that Ben will return to soundness relatively quickly.

Ben found his forever home with a sweet family in NY where he will be used lightly for trail riding as a "husband horse".  Ben will have the company of the families other horses, alpacas and chickens!

We wish you the best of luck together.
