Chasing Freedom
Quarter Horse
1995

Chasing Freedom (or Freedom, as he is known around the barn) is a handsome registered chestnut Quarter Horse gelding, approximately 15.2 hands high.  Freedom has done it all – he has shown English, Western and in Halter classes, and of course loves the trails – and would be suited for a beginner rider.

Freedom is an "Impressive" grandson and is positive for mild HYPP, which is managed with special diet and medication.  He is 10 years old, and has only had 4 episodes in his life, none of which occurred since he began the low potassium diet and daily medication regimen.

Freedom came to our care with
Cocoa, his dam, because the family that had owned him since birth no longer had enough time to spend working with them.

Freedom (and Cocoa) found his forever home with a sweet family who want to pamper and spoil him.  In return, he will teach the children about riding and the joys of having horses.
