TP's Leroy
Chestnut Quarter Horse gelding
1989

Leroy was donated to SCR in the spring of 2004 and within a week was able to find his forever home.  Prior to being donated to SCR, Leroy was a "confidence builder" for a young girl who had taken a bad spill.  The family outgrew Leroy (or "Beansprout", as they called him), and so he was donated to "the Ranch" in hopes of finding him another home where he could improve another rider's skill and confidence.

After only a week of being in SCR's care, Leroy was visited by an advanced-beginner adult rider, and the two fell for each other.  After taking a few laps around the ring together (bareback, no less!), Leroy sold himself.  He was transported to his new home that very day.

We wish Leroy good luck with his new owner.  Take care of her, old man, and she will love you forever.  Best wishes,
SCR
