In order to alleviate financial difficulties, such as poverty and repaying loans to other countries, Third World countries like Thailand and India often welcome TNC's or transnational corporations. They attract by utilizing less stringent rules and regulations that they might encounter in richer countries. Child Labor is one such rule that is egregiously trespassed upon. But Third World, poverty-stricken countries who use child labor make the mistake in using children as a source of labor. Doing so perpetuates destitution by depriving the children of the future the education needed in order to free themselves from poverty. |
