Shelby found an inner peace when she would visit with Garbagefish. There were many times she would sit on the sofa and just watch Garbagefish go upon his daily chores. He would help her to realize that no matter how tough things get in our lives, there is still the continuity of the cute little fish in the aquarium blissfully eating rocks.
