Support Carpenter's Battery

Serving Alleghany County, Covington , Clifton Forge & Iron Gate

It is the goal of Carpenter's Battery, SCV Camp 1927, to preserve the history and heritage of all Confederate Americans. Our forefathers risked everything to defend the Confederate States of America against an invading army that was better equipped, armed and fed. They often fought without proper clothing and with little food. They left their wives and children to fight for the same objective that soldiers in the revolutionary war fought. Freedom from an overbearing, over taxing Federal Government. These men fought with honor and integrity and we believe that it is our duty to represent them and our Confederate Heritage in such a way that all people of Confederate descent will once again feel an overwhelming pride in their ancestry.
