	Stie:De Smet (outskirts) Location:A farm house to the North Type:Haunting Evidence:Yes, but was lost At a farm house just North of De Smet a friend of mine let me (Erik) do a ghost hunt at his house.  I did not expect to find anything of intrest but to my surprise found my first real ghost!  We had brought along a necklace with a glass crystal in it for a pendulum test, and a tiny voice recorder.  While outside we were conducting the pendulum test on a cement pad near the house.  What we did was let the necklace hang still for a few moments then asked it a question with a command.  We asked it if there were any ghost here to spin clockwise, counterclockwise if there was no activity.  After a bit it strangly started to not spin, but to go directly back and forth!  We had the recorder going at this time and later listened to it at this part.  To our surprise there was a slight sound of violin music!  As we played this in my friends house, we were once again surprised by a loud thumping coming down the stairs!  We have recorded many sounds in this house, as to what they are is not known.  Unfortunately this taped was destroyed and the data was forever lost.  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Site: Iroquois Location: Building near main bar Type: Orbs/Haunting Evidence: Some photos, have yet to be proven. Sightings This building seems to be haunted by an odd spirit that like to manifest itself in many ways.  Since it is closed to the public, getting inside can only be done by getting permission from the one owner, and thats not going to happen!  Standing outside, you can see a coffin left over from when it was a mortuary.  This alone gives the place a creepy look, but it the windows that draw the most attention.  When watched for a while, they can be seen to fog over, and the curtains are drawn back, as if held be a human.  As this building gets older, it most likely will be torn down.  Photos here seem to turn out slighty fogged or blurry.  This is most likely due to operator error. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Site: Iroquois Location: Local Haunted House on edge of town Type: Haunted Object Evidence: People are overcome with emotion here Inside this house, just inside the front door lies a chair, upright, with two rafter upon it.  This chair Is said to that of a child that lived here.  She was sitting in it when two beams gave way and slammed on her, killing her.  This chair now is said to radiate both extream warmth and cold no matter outside temp.  A piece of this chair was cut off and burned in an effort to free the presence around it, when burned it wa said to turn the fire a bright blue.  The chair still lies there (that I'm aware of) and still eminates powerful emotions.  This house is part of three place owned by one person (supposedly).  The abandoned building, the haunted house, and now, her house. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Site: Iroquois Location: "Owner's" house Type: Mystic location Evidence: its burnt down fame and property lot This house housed the supposed owner of the haunted house and the abandoned building.  She was a nice woman in life (I knew her personally, if she owned the properties or not is still to be researched fully).  This house was the spot of the Chair piece burning, and seemed to eminate a strong spiritual energy.  Upon my return to this place, I found it to be burnt down.  It is now part of the triangle of Hauntings in the town.  More research will be done here in the future.
