Real Hero's

Today a firefighter sorts threw the rubble...
He searches for his fellow man
extending a helping hand...
All across the land there
is a call to the heart,
across the world stretches disbelief,
Such an awful grief grips humanity...
Tragedy, followed by love
from far across the land...
Today a policeman stands
next to the fireman...
Searching for a way to bring
order to the day...
Searching through the
gloom of mans decay...
Many a broken heart today...
Broken homes forever tomorrow...
Our life forever changed...
The hero is the fireman,
the police officer,
the passer by...
Hero's Are those that reach out
in love & belief of fallen man to
spread love and hope across the land
I heard a story about little boot's
for dogs sent from Canada with love,
so the dogs can keep searching for
those that we so love...
So add the dog to the list of hero's...
Warm thoughts, love sent from afar
to end the crimes of terror is the wish
of the world near & far...
The hero is your American fellow man...
Hero's are people in far off
lands that wish for an end...
If you believe in freedom,
If you don't trade your hero's for gold...
If you believe in peace through the land...
The right to live hand in hand
alongside your fellow man...
Then you are a hero...whatever your part
Denounce hate,
Look for peaceful ways,
bring those wrong to justice...
leave the innocent people to stand...
Remove the evil from the land...
Today a fireman gave his life as he
searched to save the lives of others,
this is his job, yes that's true...
But he dose it for me and you...
He believes in a fight worth fighting for...
the right to live, the right to compassion.
Today a police officer gave his life
doing whatever he could do...
Yes this is his job too...
like the fireman he dose it for me & you...
Weather your a fireman,
a police officer,
a passerby,
or a diligent dog,
know that in every heart possessed
of goodwill there stands a hero ~

In memory of those that gave there
life in the September tragedy so that
others might live to see another day...
The day four commercial planes were
hijacked and used to terrorize the
American people & the world ~
