| Lady Liberty ~ The evil seeds plant the gloom it grows to call for others doom upon this shore a heart dose break we were looking for another gate a way to find a peace in heart trying to find a brand new start what we build evil tears apart finding sadness within our hearts maybe it's war, or just plain hate it try's to come and close the gate It can't be closed don't you know no matter how that hate dose grow because there's to much love to turn away we will always look for another day The evil seeds have come to sew it's ugly hatred upon my shore What we build is not those towers but a way of life ~ A life for all that's fair and just, a life where all can live in trust We dream a dream that can't be stopped I was born here, yes that's true but I am not from here just like you, do you know why your here, on American soil? Witch of your ancestors carried you here? Your hear because someone was brave... Brave enough to leave there homeland behind... On a journey they traveled far to this land... Lady Liberty greeting each and ever one with her torch held high in her outstretched hand, Welcoming your ancestors to this very land... You are not alone, many have come... But some of you forget why your here... Look to your heart, remember the way... To be American means your ancestors sought a better way... If you could have made the journey here with them, then maybe you would better understand,what it truly means to be American ~ Maybe you would better understand... The right to pursue happiness, the right to liberty & justice for all and not just a few ~ To be American means to band together with all who come, Not just the ones that you think are like you... Americans looking, searching for a better way, America the 'melting pot' of all the world... Where are you from?
