~ The Dark Keep ~

Roaming the seashore
diving down to the sea floor
I came upon your shell
In which you hide so well
I knocked upon your door
as I laid there on the floor
waiting your reply
tears behind my eyes
heart so heavy
your inner battles reach me
words we do not speak
as you dwell within this keep
so strong and yet so fragile
your world so big and yet so small
no one sees your sadness
but I where it in quiet madness
Iv no other choice
it is my inner voice
it hears your every song
right or wrong it dose not matter
you know that I will be there
I know you hide because you care
you don't want to take me there
feeling you must stand alone
coming out when you've grown strong
as I lay there in the deep
near the darkness of your keep
I feel a mind that flows
a heart that aches, yet longs to grow
I am not here to pry you out
make no mistake what I'm about
so many shells you've left behind
one reamins to protect your mind
this I understand,
take my hand when you can
I shall lay here in the deep
watching over this dark keep
