Dear Sir, Hello, my name is Erin, I am sixteen, in year eleven and attend Saint Francis Xavier Collage, Hamilton. I recently received an assignment in legal studies about a area of my choice about women discrimination. I chose to do women discrimination in the catholic church and why women can not become priests. I personally have a strong belief that anything men can do women can do better. I think that women discrimination in todays society is unacceptable and should be stopped as soon as possiable . Dear Erin,

I do tend to agree with you that women are able to do most things better than us men. In fact there are some very wonderful things they can do that none of us men can. And there are some responsibilities men themselves have to shoulder. I am afraid that much of women's anger at men comes from our failure to rise to those responsibilities.

The question is whether the priesthood is one of those responsibilities. Although it is certainly not the last word, I wrote an article which argues Why Women Can Never Be Priests. I invite you to read it and let me know what you think.
