Matt Sneed, 97.5 WPST Radio Announcer
Matt is a popular radio personality whose voice can
be heard each weekday from 2:00-7:00 pm on 97.5 PST. He began his radio career
in 1996 in the Promotions Dept. at 95.5 WPLJ in New York City. After on-air stints
at 93.5 WSBG in Stroudsburg, 94.3 The Point in Asbury Park,
97.5 PST in Trenton, 96.5 The Point in Philadelphia and G106.3 in Asbury
Park, Matt landed the Music Director/Asst. Program Director
job at MAX 106.3 in Sussex,
NJ. He helped launch the station and spent nearly two years in the
position before returning to 97.5 PST in April 2002 as the Asst. Music Director
and Afternoon Air Personality.
Tom Wirtshafter,
Off-Broadway Producer
Tom Wirtshafter’s current
productions include “Sarah Jones – bridge and tunnel,” currently being
presented at the Culture Project, and “BUG” by Tracy Letts,
now playing at the Barrow Street Theatre. His previous productions include
“Underneath the Lintel,” the long-running off-Broadway show at the Soho Playhouseby Glen Berger; and
“Stars in Your Eyes” by Chip Meyrelles, which premiered
at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Tom
is the Chief Operating Officer of AXA Advisors and
a member of the Board of Trustees of the Town Hall Foundation.
Arthur Mayhew, Former Editor in Chief, Courier
Times
Arthur Mayhew spent his career in the
newspaper business, including the last 19 as publisher of the Bucks
County Courier Times, the largest newspaper of family-owned Calkins Media.
He retired in July 2003. He also worked for a Calkins newspaper in Beaver County, PA, and
for newspapers in Delaware County, PA, and in his native Texas. He spent three years as an
associate director at the American Press Institute, a newspaper training center
in Reston, VA. He was active in a variety of national,
state and local organizations and continues to serve on the board of Vita
Education Services, the literacy program in Bucks County. Arthur
and his wife, Carol, a realtor, have five children and seven grandchildren.
They live in Lower Makefield.
Kate Fratti, Local Columnist
Kate Fratti is a
thrice-weekly columnist for the Bucks County Courier Times, where she also served previously as an Edition
Editor. Kate is the former Editor of the Bristol Pilot and also worked for many years as a reporter for the Yardley News. Both of these papers are owned by the Intercounty Newspaper Group. A graduate of Penn State University, Kate lives in Lower Makefield with her husband Ray. They have two
children: Karen, 20, a graduate of Pennsbury High School
and now a sophomore at Temple
University majoring in
English and Joe, 18, a
senior at Pennsbury.
Newton Gilchrist, Actor / Director
Newton Gilchrist performed at the Kennedy Center's Words and Music revival of "Bells
are Ringing" and Where's Charlie." He
created the role of Hank Munson on Broadway in "State Fair." He
played Dap in the National Tour and Broadway company
of "Camelot." Other National Tours include "Drood,"
"Brigadoon," and "My Fair Lady." In Texas he played Sir John in "Me and My
Girl" and the Padre in "Man of La Mancha."
Newton played Merlin in "Camelot" starring
Robert Goulet at Valley Forge Music Fair and Westbury, NY.
He can also be seen in "Dead Poet's Society." Directing credits
include "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Brighton
Beach Memoirs," "Evita," "42nd Street,"
and many others.
