The torch light parade at Squaw during the SnowFest party is one of the most awesome time of the year. Starting at the top of te mountain with a couple of road flares with hundreds of other snow folks sliding down a huge sheet of ice is more exhilirating than anything else I've done. Mind you, I'm just a beginner boarder... and this ain't no beginner hill... so you have an idea how cold my bum was when I went down. Some of us got lucky and rode down sunny side... hence the minute trail of light on the right side of the huge river leading to my old house aptly called THE ZOO featured as the Austrian ski house on "HOTDOG" the movie. |
