I am making some really cool slide shows for you to see, comming soon!
In the mean time have a look at a few photos of some of the critters we have adopted out. This Red Eared Slider was my very first rescued turtle, named Sedona.
There were 4 Guinea hens we placed into a new home. BOY were they noisey! That is why they ended up needing a new home.
Meet Pocohontis, the Aracona chicken. She was the chicken I kept my self. I taught her how to do tricks, and she was featured on the website Animal Actors Showcase. Click on any picture to go to an animal related website.
Here is Tortuga! She is a Russian tortoise. Tortuga was my first Tortoise rescue, and I had kept her for 4 years before I found the right home for her. I tell ya I cryed when I adopted her! I was SO happy to find her that special forever home. Since that day, we have adopted out 182 Reptiles into new homes.
Many fish have passed through our doors. Mostly goldfish, that have gotten too big for their aquarium, but we have also had a few tanks full of fancy guppies, and a few plecostomi as well as some tropicals. It's amazing, they come from carnivals, and then people don't know what to do with them! So they get dumped into our rivers! Some of these gold fish were caught out of the Noyo River! NOT a good idea to let anyfish go into the wild! IF they survive, they can make the food scarce for the natural wildlife.
Draco was my first Iguana rescue
