WHAT IS Secret location?

Imagine this for a minute….

“You walk upstairs to the fourth floor to get into this club that you’ve never been to before and not knowing what to expect…But as soon as you walk inside, you notice this awesome cityscape view of Suva City… silhouetting in front of the city view is a picture perfect outline of a dj wearing his headphones while on the decks thumping away those deep driving beats of progressive house onto the like-minded followers as they dance away on the dance floor under the cubism scanner lights!........you hear this music that the dj is playing…its something you’ve never heard before…but you really like the beats and sound….Now you realise exactly why you’re here for…a night of good quality dance music……and nothing else ”

Good thing is that the above scenario is very common amongst the clubbers and dancemusic enthusiast in overseas countries such as UK, USA, Australia and NZ. They have a thriving club culture there and are able to relate this scenario to one of their many excursions to such escapades.

The sad thing is that this scene is simply non-existent in Fiji…and its really really sad and frustrating at times. Fiji is desperately missing out on the club culture in its true sense and is not fair on those like-minded people in this country who would love to have something like this happening in their hometown once in a while!

So that’s where Secret location comes in …

We want to give the dance music lovers of Fiji an opportunity to experience and enjoy the true club culture that we always read and hear of overseas. Some of you might have already experienced it there but its about time we create our own scene and take it on from then.

As the name says it, Secret location will be hosting events of dance music nature across various venues within Suva and at times across other parts of Fiji. And at times in some of the craaazziest places that you may have never imagined before!! So that’s what the hype is all about, and it remains a secret only until last couple of days before the actual day.

Registered members of the Secret location will get opportunity to take part in all events done under this banner at any Location across Fiji.

We want to remain strictly underground with minimal commercial output and at the same time establish and nurture the upcoming true club culture in this society.

So that’s just it..in few words folks, hope we didn’t scare you kiddies too much but basically if you enjoy dance music then your in for some good time..!
