I have an infatuation with butterflies and paint them as often as I can. Blue butterflies, like the Asian Blue Morpho, are my favorites. This was my first watercolor painting with butterflies and if one of my favorites.

Fall and winter are my favorite seasons.
This was inspired, like Smoky Mountain Vistas, by Great Smoky Mountains National Park, although it echoes a lot of the fall scenery high in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in New Mexico.
