    Oblique Cone

How do I create a cone as shown in figure ?

    - Marcus Powell <marcus.powell@shoreline.com>

Sketch a circle in the x-y plane.

Sketch a point in a plane parallel to the x-y plane and height same as that of the cone.

Create a lofted protrusion between the circle and the point.

In that, after selecting the circle as the first cross-section, click the Select pull-down list and select Point from the list.

Next, select the point as the second cross-section.

    Painter Babu - ILU

    How can I apply a color/material to a face/feature only ?

    - Sheldon Planas <sheldonp@ardswift.co.uk>

    Click Format > Part Painter...

Pick Face or Feature from the Select pull-down list on the ribbon bar.

Select a color/material from the Style pull-down list.

Pick the desired face/feature adn you are done.

    Insert Constraint

Why can't I use the Insert Constraint on some holes ?

    - Ajay Sanhotra <ajaysanhotra@musc.edu>

If the holes are not meeting normal to a flat face or if the face is not flat, the insert constraint cannot be used.

Instead, use an axis constraint in conjunction with a pair of features mated.
