Dimension Text Size How can I change the dimension text height ? - Kelly Butler <kellyb@fyi.co.uk> Right click a dimension text and select Properties. In the Dimensions Properties dialog box, take the General tab. In Solid Edge the dimension text size is not an absolute value. The text size is relative to the screen. Drag the Font size: slider to adjust the font size and preview the actual dimension text size in the preview area on the right. Finaly click OK. Alternately, you may select Format > Style and click the Modify... button in the Style dialog. Then take the General tab and make the necessary changes. Don't forget to click Apply on your journey back. | |
Open Parts How do I open part files from assembly and drafts ? - Willy Krivanek <willy_krivanek2001@email.com> Right click an occurrence part of a part in assembly and select Open in Solid Edge Part from the menu. In a draft file, double-click on any view of a part and the part file will open the Solid Edge Part environment. The same is true for opening parts from assembly files but better double-click in the edgebar in the assembly. |
Feature based color I have a mould part. Can I assign a single color for all drafted faces ? - Ferdinand Smith <ferdinand_SE@msn.com> Select Format > Part Painter... Select a style and select All features of the same type from the list. Now select the draft feature in the edgebar or on the part. Note that even when you hover over one draft face or in the edgebar, all draft features will be highlighted. Click to set all draft faces to the selected style. | |
