    Dimension Tolerance

Is it possible to display tolerance as both +ve values ?

    - Brett Roper <brett@roperengg.com>

By default, the Tolerance dimension type displays the uppper tolerance as positive and lower tolerance as negative.

To display the lower tolerance as positive, add a + sign ahead of the tolerance figure for the lower tolerance.

This will force display the + sign for the lower tolerance too.

    See figure.

    Dim Continue

How can have existing dimensions placed as in Dim Continue of AutoCAD ?

    - Luis Gross, South Africa <email address undisclosed>

    Thissi possible in Solid Edge.

Select Tools > Dimensions > LineUp Text.

Use the options on the ribbon bar align dimensions.

I used the Horizontal Bottom option to align dimensions as shown in figure.

    Underline Text

How to underline all textbox text by default ?

    Select Format > Style.

Select Text from the Style type list.

Select Styles in use from the List list in the bottom-left corner.

    Click the Modify... button.

    Take the Paragraph tab.

    Check the Underline check box.

    Click OK and then Apply.
